We use Cloudflare, Inc. as a content delivery network and reverse proxy. All traffic between your browser and our servers passes through Cloudflare's network, which terminates the encrypted (TLS) connection and may process your IP address, request headers and similar technical data in order to provide security, attack protection and acceleration services, as well as to cache content. Cloudflare acts as a data processor on our behalf.
Our Service may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit.

All Pokémon images shown have been taken from a third party, PokeMiners (https://github.com/PokeMiners/pogo_assets), and are used for illustrative purposes only; they do not constitute an endorsement of or affiliation with the trademarks mentioned. We may collect and store users' email addresses to send updates, news or other information related to our Service. We will not share, sell or rent your email addresses to third parties without your prior consent.
Apart from the notifications you switch on yourself, Godex sends a small number of service emails: a welcome message when your account is created, a confirmation when a payment activates Pro, a notice when a payment cannot be matched to any account, and the inactivity warnings described in the next section. They are not marketing and therefore carry no unsubscribe link: they exist to perform our agreement with you (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR) or to comply with the storage limitation principle (Articles 5(1)(e) and 6(1)(c) GDPR). We do not send commercial newsletters and we never sell or rent your address.
So that these emails arrive in your language, we store the last interface language you used on the site. The email is delivered by our email provider, which processes the message on our behalf and under our instructions.
We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. If you do not sign in for twelve months we treat the account as abandoned and begin an erasure procedure: we email you a warning ninety, sixty and thirty days before the deletion date, and if you still do not sign in, fifteen months after your last visit we erase the account and everything attached to it — trainer profile, collections, caught Pokemon and public links. Signing in once at any moment cancels the procedure and resets the clock for another year.
You do not have to wait for that: you can delete your account yourself at any time from your profile, and the deletion is immediate and permanent. The only exception is payment records, which we must keep for accounting and tax purposes for the period required by law.
If you turn on release notifications from your profile, we store the notification endpoint your browser generates, the encryption keys that go with it, the language you were using, a description of the device (your browser's user agent) and the date on which you gave your consent. We use them for one purpose only: to notify you when a new version of Godex is released.
The legal basis is your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). We keep this data for as long as the notification stays active. When you withdraw it, we delete the subscription immediately and keep the record of your consent for a maximum of twelve months so that we can demonstrate it was given, after which it is erased. Deleting your account erases all of it at once.
Delivery necessarily involves the push service of your own browser (Google, Mozilla, Apple or Microsoft, depending on the browser you use), which receives the technical endpoint and the encrypted content of the notification. The notification never contains personal data about you. You can withdraw your consent at any time, on one device or on all of them, from the same profile section where you turned it on.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
